Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To implement and maintain the technology of the church, including the church network, servers, staff computers, telephone system, camera system, and software packages.
The Technology Team ensures that the church’s network, website, and technology systems are running smoothly to support church operations. This ministry is essential for maintaining the church’s technological infrastructure, ensuring secure networks, and providing ongoing tech support.
Team members are responsible for managing the computer network and server and providing internet and email services. Additionally, they handle the installation and upkeep of hardware and software, implement security measures to protect data, and monitor network usage for compliance with church policies.
The Technology Team works closely with the Pastor for Outreach & Administration to make informed decisions about purchasing new equipment and managing the tech budget. This ministry is vital for keeping the church’s digital environment running smoothly, ensuring that staff and ministry teams can serve the congregation effectively.
