At Home Ministry Team
Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To visit any member of the church who is not able to physically get to church.
When someone in our church family can no longer attend in person, we have a beautiful opportunity to be the church—to bring worship, fellowship, and the love of Christ directly to them. The At Home Ministry Team ministers to our homebound members through visits, calls, cards, prayer, Scripture reading, shared meals, and joyful moments of celebration. This ministry helps our church fulfill Christ’s call to care for others, remembering that no one should be forgotten or alone in their faith journey.
Serving on this team allows you to be a living expression of God’s presence. As you connect through listening, praying, and simply being present, you help homebound members continue to encounter God and grow in Christ even from their homes. Whether you’re delivering a birthday gift, sharing a hymn, or offering a heartfelt prayer, your role is sacred and impactful. Come serve with us in this ministry of compassion, remembrance, and grace—where every visit is a chance to share the Gospel in action.
