Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To provide books and other media that will edify and equip church members
The Media Center Ministry serves to enrich and equip church members by providing a wide range of books, DVDs, and audiobooks that encourage spiritual growth and foster knowledge of the Bible and Christian life. The team works to maintain a welcoming and accessible space where church members of all ages can discover resources to deepen their faith and understanding.
Serving in the Media Center involves assisting patrons with finding resources, organizing and shelving books, and ensuring that materials are well-maintained. Select team members are also responsible for cataloging books and entering them into the computer system. The library includes a variety of resources: Bible study tools, Christian growth books, fiction, biographies, children’s books, and more.
The Media Center Ministry is overseen by a director and guided by the Associate Pastor for Worship and Discipleship. Those who serve in this ministry help make the resources of the church accessible and impactful, ensuring that members have what they need to grow in their faith.
