Purpose (Scope of Ministry): Ministering to widows of all ages with encouragement, equipping, fellowship, and ministry.
The Next Chapter Widow Ministry Team exists to serve and minister to widows of all ages through intentional encouragement, fellowship, and support. Recognizing the unique challenges and life stages within widowhood, this ministry seeks to walk alongside women in their journey by offering Christ-centered community, care, and connection.
The team meets regularly to consider the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of widows in our church family. It plans gatherings, provides helpful resources for everyday life, and encourages widows to find joy and purpose through involvement in ministry and outreach. By engaging with each widow personally, the team strives to ensure that no one feels forgotten or alone.
Through this ministry, widows are affirmed in their value, strengthened in their faith, and connected to one another and the broader church body. Whether recently widowed or years into a new chapter of life, women will find compassion, encouragement, and meaningful fellowship here.
